Do you suppose that it will work for .32 S&W Long or .32 H&R Magnum? Slightly different bullet diameters, but only by very little.

I lucked into a complete Lyman .30 Luger die set and was surprised to see that the expanding die was an M die. That got the wheels turning for the rimmed .32 cartridges. I use .311 cast bullets in the Luger and .314 in the revolvers.

I don't go all scientific with this stuff.
I'd try it and see how it worked.

Yes, that’s the plan. I wasn’t intending to load up any .32 Magnum in the near future, but I can and that would easily answer the question.

I'm sure the cases will tell you right away if that die will work.
If the boolit seats & starts in the case mouth-- you're good.

If the top of the insert is stamped “31 R” (or maybe “P”) you should be good to go. I use one so stamped for cast boolits in all my .30-.31 caliber rifles up to the .32-20.

It is stamped 31P, so I am a happy camper! Thanks to all.
