In the process of restoring a BHP MKIII. After acquiring missing parts will probably blast, parkerize and Duracoat. Some high visibility sights are sounding pretty good at this point. Any recommendations? HiViz doesn't list any for BHP. Neither does TruGlo...

Novak's require additional dovetail work, do they not?

I'm watching this because I went through the same sorrows a year or two back. The BHP seems to get little love these days.

Novak Sights for Browning High Power MKIII's
**Front sights are direct replacements - some minor fitting may be required. All rear sights
will require minor slide machining for installation. Please see our sight installation or "Sights 101"
sections for more information.**

That may be true, I took it to a local smith and had them installed so I don't know what had to be done to make them work.

Got the parts needed and refinished the project. Dawson sights are pretty nice. Still need to run it to the range and fine tune. Have test fired prior to refinish and it functions just fine. Removed the magazine safety. Now for a little break-in and a final decision on which grips to settle on. I like the original wood but have toyed with an imitation stag just for something different. The pair that I have are a bit bulky and change the dimensions a bit too much.
