Delivering this load and I wondered how many boolits I could make with this. How much tin would I need?

TOTAL LBS OF MIX TIMES 7000 grs, DEVEIDED BY WHAT YOUR BULLET SHOULD WEIGH = TOTAL AMOUNT, YOU SHOULD END UP WITH <
GIVE OR TAKE A FEW ?? LBS. X 7000 grs. DEVIDED BY BULLET WEIGHT = COUNT + OR -....

Lead is toxic. You should redirect that to my office.

According to Biden enough 9 mm bullets to like blow the lungs out of like a gazillion people!!!

That would be 7,728,000 - 40 grain bullets for my 22 Hornet

Don't worry about it.

After you've cast the first 25-30 tons, you'll quit counting anyway.

Almost as many bullets as the US debt!

That’s a good amount to get started with. A lot of people like one part tin to twenty lead.

You could take up traditional muzzleloading and you won't need any tin.:-?

You're not asking a few other important questions:

1. What sort of rhythm or cadence will you need to cast it all up into boolits?

2. What kind of Class III weapons will you need to shoot them?

3. How much powder and primers will be needed?

Don't worry you will probably run out of primers first.

At the current rate about $167,808 for primers with a 180 grn boolit.

You may not need tin if you can keep velocities down, which you would want to do anyway in the scenario below. Also depending on twist rate.
44,160lbs divided by 2,700=16.355 bullets(projectiles), this should also keep the cost of primers down, as you only need 16.
You will then need a 16'' barrel from one of the Iowa class battleships. I would slug it first before having Lee make a custom mold. Go with a single cavity for obvious reasons, and see if they can provide some substantially upgraded handles. Get a gas checked bullet mold, and you can utilize up turned garbage can lids as checks.
Next you will need a stock. I would suggest cutting down a 40' white Oak tree, and having it rough milled to size, then finish by hand. A bench rest style stock would work best due to it not being suitable as a carry gun.
When firing the gun, you will need plenty of free range, and I would suggest at lest 100 yds free space behind the stock due to recoil. It should go without saying, a shooting jacket and recoil pad would not go amiss either.
After your casting session you should have close to 900lbs of lead remaining to cast regular sized bullets from.
Using the above, you will have 15 life times of lead supply, to hand down to your next of kin.
Let us know how it goes. Keep us posted.

Does this mean they would have to be shot in Brazil?
