Anybody having trouble using these cases. I have a pard that I cowboy shoot with and he has had trouble with them in his 38's. I've reloaded them myself and they feed fine in my S&W model 10 and J-frame but my 1872 Open top doesn't like them.
Curious about them because I have a bunch in .380 and would hate to waste powder and primers on a case that won't feed. Anybody have experience with these?:-D

I have a few hundred of them in 38 Special that I use in a Taurus and have never had any problems. Most of them have three or four loadings on them.

Good cases, no problems in 45 acp for me. I think they are the same as CCI/Speer cases.

With due respect to Billyb, the handgun cases stamped "I" that I am familiar with are Independence brand.... which is part of Federal Cartridge( and named for the city in Missouri). They have served me well.

I thought *I* was starline a star, then a vertical line. . . Am I screwy on this one?
