Zincpoint has .22 ammo for .06 cents a round. I have tried this and it goes bang and in my old Western Field .22 it is more accurate than I am. Go check it out here:https://zincpoint.com/rifle-ammo/22-long-rifle/. My Ruger .22 seems to like them a lot even though it is the most picky of all my .22 hand guns.

I have bought small pistol primers from them and they all go bang.

Made in Argentina - and I'm not saying there is anything inherently wrong with that origin.

Fifty years ago, my grandfather used to buy cheap paper-hull shotgun shells from Mexico...I seem to recall they were a dollar for a box of 25. Fiber wad and only came in #6 shot but we killed a lot of dove and rabbits with them.

Just bought 500 rounds of .22mag for 2 cents a round more than I paid a year ago, plus they are 45 gr jacketed vs 40 gr.

I see they have sold out their stock of those.

Cci's specialty wrf load features a pure copper jacket which is easy on old barrels and is uses clean-burning propellants that keeps actions cleaner. It utilizes sure-fire cci priming and reusable plastic box with dispenser lid.
