Good shooting! You know, I think .54’s are some of the best grouping calibers around. I have never seen one that wasn’t a proper tack driver.

Great shooting sir!
The great thing about 50s and 54s is you don't need those dirty bird targets to see the holes.

I like the studs you put on your forend.
I built a Traditions St. Louis Hawken a year ago.
But I Lictenburg Fractural burned lightning bolts all over the stock

I wish I could get my 45 cal to shoot that well. Maybe I should see if can be bored out.

I have several smoke poles in both flint and cap. The best shooting is by far my mid 1970's vintage .54 cal. Tradition's Hawken cap lock. When I do my part, it will easily throw glover leaves at 50 yards.

Have had several Traditions rifles in 50 cal and all were remarkably accurate with patched RB at load levels from mild to heavy.

Yes sir! Very accurate guns indeed. Bed the barrel, trigger and tang, you got one hell of a rock solid set up.

Finding a 54s sweet spot in accuracy? Is always fun. But the 54s recoil? ___ That's why I shoot a 45 cal. "I'm allergic to recoil y'll "
