My brother in law gifted me box of random gun stuff. They were inherited, and he took what he could use. Aside from several boxes of 30-30, 30-06 and others, he included a few mags. There are two rifle mags, one marked "30-06", and one marked with 5 calibers. A chrome .22 Mag, and a blued .22 LR. Any ideas?302691

The 2 on the right are for a Remington Model Four.
It was a semi-auto made from '81-1988.
The one with all the cal.s listed is probably an aftermarket one.

The 2 smaller mags are for marlins my guess on the smallest is a model 70 in .22lr and the nickel plated one is for a 782? in .22 mag marlin made a stainless .22 mag bolt action for years and thats the mag for it. The other 2 mags look like they are for a remington either 760 or 742 the difference is the mag for a 742 will have a sliding button on the one side of it which acts as a bolt release when the mag is empty. The 742 was a semiauto and the 760 was a pump remingtons engineers were pretty clever on the design as a lot of the parts were the same for both rifles. The one mag with all the calibers listed on it is a late aftermarket for the same remington.

Wow. You appear to be correct on all counts. I'll have to poke around to be sure. Thanks.

The small blue one may also fit a Marlin 25N, which I have. If you can't use it, I can.

The Marlin model 70 magazine works in a Coast to Coast model 42. The Coast to Coast model was made by Marlin for Coast to Coast.
