My load for my 7x57 Mauser/Remington 700 Mountain rifle is 165 gr Saeco silhouette gc cast straight WW/Javelina lubed; sized 0.285"/25.0 gr H4198/Win brass/Rem 91/2M primer. I get consistent 1.5 MOA in my rifle. It's a very clean load. It should work well with your 7-08.

I use the 073's I sent you in a 788 Rem. 7-08. 18.7 grs. IMR 4227 and .5 grs. of filler. 1760 fps. ave. 12.7 es. I use that load for the handgun silhouette targets works good.

24-28 grs 4895 with a filler,[dryerlint,dacron] and a large size primer.
2400 without a filler and a large primer is nice too, mine likes 19-20 grains, and isn't position sensitive.
i like this one for shooting in the canyons with a lyman#2-like, mix for rock-chucks as the boolit will behave like a varmint boolit and break up.
