Surfing here on an iPad, paid member but all of a sudden these blasted ads are coming up from the bottom of the screen. I am happy to pay more to get rid of these, anyone have any insight? Maybe I just need a boot, have never experienced this on an apple product….

Have never seen a popup since installing Adblocker. Think I downloaded within a week of joining Practical Machinist, before I knew about this site.

Does #1 or any mods have an explanation as to why this is going on? I have all kinds of subnets, virus protection on my microshaft laptops (which are not needed for apple IOS) so it has to be coming from the forum itself. I’ll gladly chip another $20 to get rid of this garbage….

I'm testing an ad program to see if I can try and get Ken (45nut) the guy who started this place some more steady income. It should only be 1 ad up top I believe. Is there more than just that one ad that people see?

It's just testing fyi. It's not a permanent thing right now.

Had weird ads pop up from the bottom of the screen for things I don't care about. Hit the 'report this ad' tab and indicated I wasn't interested. Now, today all seems well.

Download Addblocker+ (plus?). I don’t get any since I downloaded that several years back. It’s really simple to use, nothing to it. Clear out your history also. You’re getting a lot of ads from visiting other sites.
