Are the rest of you getting an "ad tab" across the bottom of the page?

How do I get rid of it ?

Phone, tablet or computer? I don't have them on the computer and don't even try accessing on a phone due to the ads and silly thing asking me if I want to use the vaunted "app".

On a computer, it's fine.

Ditto for me. Annoying new banner ad at top of page, and the same ads that have been at the bottom of the page since forever. The new banner ad is Google advertising. If the owners have allowed Google to infiltrate this forum, we are doomed.

I installed an ad blocker and now I don't see it anymore

I’m glad it’s an issue, by which I mean that admin and mods are hopefully trying to get rid of a problem, not deliberately accommodating what many here find a very exasperating and unwelcome intrusion.

I switched to the BRAVE BROWSER .......no Google BS and no ads

We use "Ghostery Add Blocker". Free and does more than just adds.
Firefox is another excellent addition to eliminate all the Mircosoft garbage.
Then Linux !!!
