Prayer for a smooth passage!

I'm bringing mighty prayer warrior up for prayer today. Marti was, is a teacher, even when I was in high school. Over the years she fostered over 60 children, most teens, and has been an active member of the community giving God the glory all the way. I came to know her as a friend when we where neighbors and have transported her to a meeting we where part of since her car accident at 79 when she stopped driving. She has been telling me she's ready to "go home" the whole time. She's 86 now, has inoperable liver cancer and is going into hospice. Pray for her peaceful passage, and her family as she will be missed mightily!

Father, You know the qualities of Marti! In her years of teaching and sponsoring teens in trouble she has shown a remarkable human quality that you dont see much today. Father, as You prepare to bring Marti home please give her comfort and peace. Allow her maximum quality time with her family, friends and the extended family that she has led down the path to adulthood. AMEN

When I read your thread the answer I got back from the Holy Spirit is and I quote.

"He is with her" Looks to me like he is going to escort one of his own directly to Heaven.

Lord lift her up gently, she has suffered enough, for long enough. I pray that you make her transition as smooth and easy as possible.
But as always Lord, not my will but THINE be done. Amen.
