Bought these at a local gunshow a few years back; guy said they were .30 cal. 180 gr.. Didn't know much else; some he picked up somewhere else. I can't seem to i.d. these, although I've looked through all the mold catalogs I can find. To give you an idea of age, check out the BRASS gas checks ( home made?) Any one have any ideas? I did load 3 into my Lee-Enfield on top of 38 grs. of H 4895, and shot just over M.O.A. off a rest. I would love to find the mold for these!!!
Thanx!

Looks to me to be an old Ideal/Lyman 311329. If so, one may once in awhile show up on ebay.

Too pointy for a 314299. I agree with 1shirt, looks like the 311329. Go the lyman mold reference at castpics.net and compare.

I have an old LEE mold that looks a lot like that bullet. It drops at 180 grains using a ww alloy!

The gas checks look like older Lyman GC's. The ones I have are 30+ yrs. old and are that brass color-I don't know about new(er) ones.

Concur with 1Shirt or TAWILDCATT; "thats a lyman mold I have one.listed as 308329 at 185grs.I bought it new,at $5.00.in 1940s.

My mold is an H&G 99 and it is not the bullet in your picture, the ogive is a little different. The rest of it look identical. I guess it is supposed to be a 200 grain boolit, mine casts about 196 and right at .311". Sorry it is not for sale.

Dragonrider, I did some checking with help/links on this forum(Thanks, everyone!), and did confirm it is a Lyman 311329. Will keep my eyes peeled for one. Thanks anyway, man!
