Soft lead for sizing

I have two 44 cal revolvers I wish to throat/bore size.

18 or so suitably over sized soft cast should do me.

I don't know why I want to check them. Both shoot lubed and powder coated commercial sourced .430 cast well and without any leading. I guess for piece of mind?
