I HAVE paid that price, because I WAS out, and I bought enough to keep me in primers for at least a couple of years. I don't expect the price or the availability to change very much for the next few years.

yup, I feel yer pain. Last year, I had to bend over and shell out for a brick of CCI #41's because I had to have them. Ouch!

i paid $312 for two bricks of federal small rifle match yday.I almost vomited.Prices will not come down in my opinon

The CCI stuff Sportsmans got in a few weeks ago were $6/100 for std small primers and $9/100 for match small rifle primers. If you are paying more it is because the retailer is reaping in the extra profit.
