Lol, you've never been to the top of Pikes Peak or MT Evans in summer. I got snowed on in July one time on MT Evans. Go up there some time when there are storms in the area and experience your hair standing on end. It do snow in the rockies in summer.

enjoy that snow it was 93 + in Knoxville yesterday and today by 5pm it should top that and with 88 percent humidity feels like 105 or more, not even a hint of a breeze. its time to put ac in window and crank that puppy up.

experience your hair standing on end Had that happen on Mt. Evans from static electricity just before the snow storm. Road closed by the time we got back to the hiway - summer time. Saw that Yellowstone got flooded out this week. Closed for the summer. https://www.kbzk.com/news/local-news/video-aerial-footage-of-flooding-in-yellowstone-national-park

Missoula, MT is considered the candy posterior of the State when it comes to weather. When I lived there it snowed in every calendar month.

Obviously somebody who has spent NO time in the Rockies. Had a 12" snow on June 29, early 1980's, just above Denver (8700 ft) in Conifer, CO. Snows anytime above 10,000 feet, like in the movie WIND RIVER, the mountains don't get the memo about spring or summer.

I,ve seen snow flurries in June and July on Pikes Peak and between Lake Louise and Jasper had heavy snow last week of June. Have been in snow on Mt. Evans 2 or three times in the summer, out of about 4 trips. Tried to go up Mt. Evans one in early June but it was closed at about the 6000-7000 ft. level because of heavy snow higher up. Also got to watch goats playing in the snow banks above 10,000 feet. There was one young goat that climbed up a rock that was at least 10 feet high above a snow bank sloping down from the rock, jumped off and turned a flip into the snow bank. Quite a show.
