I have somehow accumulated an unknown die, says 30.06 sizer. No name, looks like an old LYMAN DIE, but am wondering if they ever made dyes and did not put their name on it?
Saw a lyman seater, DA on auction and looks just like it but does not say lyman. Was wondering if Lyman ever made dies for anyone else?

There was a time when cartridge loading dies proliferated and the options were much more numerous. A pic would help, but it could be a Texan, a C-H, or Herters old die. There were so many.

Probably not.
For a tool maker, reloading dies would be a pretty simple thing to make
and Lyman probably just wouldn't make them for someone else.
However;
they might buy pieces and parts from some other and maybe a no-name company to finish out their products.

One example is primer tubes. Look at the big name press makers.
All their primer tubes look the same, except maybe for length, and are interchangeable.

Here is a pic of a sizing die, I ran across, no manufacturers name, all it says is 30-06 sizer, nothing else, was wondering if anyone recognizes it or one like it
