I’m casting the 7.62MM-130-SPL for use in my two AR47’s.
One is a KAK x39 18” Gunner barrel, 1:9.5 twist mid length gas. Slugs .311.
The second is a Bear Creek Arsenal x39 heavy 16” barrel, 1:10 twist carbine length gas. Slugs .309.

I’m casting from COWW +2% tin, water quenched, powder coated + GC. They come out around 140 grains +/-. I hope to modify allow for lighter boolits closer to 125grs.

I just need to know if anyone is doing the same thing and what your results/ load data are. I have a large assortment of powders. Hoping someone has data for this setup using CFE-BLK, Re-7, IMR4227, IMR4064, IMR2230, IMR4198, etc… I also have various pistol powders that should work for lighter plinking loads. Having the action cycle properly would be nice.
Not sure what velocity my bullets can handle but hoping to get close to 2000 fps or more. Thanks

Lyman 47 gives loads for a 130 grain #311410 semi pointed cb in #2 alloy.
RX7 - 25.0 grains start load/ 2164 fps.

Would 22 grains Re7 be good start load for the 7.62MM-130-SPL at 140 grains PC+ GC (COWW + 2%tin)? Please advise.
