Sometime back I bought a mold from Arsenal Molds and was very pleased. Five weeks ago I ordered another, supposedly to be delivered in 2-3 weeks.--and cannot get a response on the status on my order. I don't mind waiting longer, but am concerned about their silence. Has anyone heard about the company being in trouble, or are they just quirky that way?

I ordered a Arsenal mold recently and it took seven weeks to get notification that it was out of processing and being shipped.

Hmmm. I bought one in June 9th 2021. Only supplier that could deliver what I wanted. They acknowledged my order by email the next day. Updated it when they shipped. It's a good mould, no complaints there. Order communications as good as anybody's. But they said in a followup email that they were flat-out busy, (like every other mould-maker!), so my lead time might be 6-8 weeks. It got shipped in two weeks anyway.

This is reassuring that the problem is what Strother Martin would have termed a failure to communicate. Given that delays are currently the norm, I can wait. I was quite pleased with my previous mold from this firm.

Arsenal does great work but alot of folks don't know is Jared is a one man band. Order taker, machinist, packaging, billing & shipping. I think he sacrifices communication so it dosen't affect quality of work and shipping times. I have several of his molds and they are top notch.

A positive update: Today I was notified that the Arsenal mold I ordered on 23 April will be delivered tomorrow. I mention this to reassure others who may have been waiting in suspense for weeks with no response. I concur with previous posters that it will be worth the wait; my previous Arsenal mold is the caterpillar's spats.
