Kinda cool, first it went into an eclipse then came out full but orange. Still visible.

Yess, we were in the driveway taking photos and the next door neighbors came over. I got a telescope out and set it up. We had a nice visit for an hour or so while we watched the moon and stars.

Got lucky. Over my lifetime (77 years) I've only had a good look at 2 or 3. This time I was NOT clouded out, despite the forecast, but sadly my eyesight is so poor now that all I saw with naked eyes was a colored blur. During totality it was much more brown than red.

The 2024 solar eclipse path of totality will pass only 50-60 miles from my BOL. Something to look forward to.

Nothing special here in AZ. Clear black sky and an eclipse. Others with mega moons have been much more spectacular. It' now only a crescent moon.

Catch 'ya on the next one!

Just watched the Lunar eclispe from the deck. I got lucky and also spotted one very good meteor trail and one that I am guessing was a comet. It had the longest length and longest lasting trail I have seen.

I saw it for a little while, the clouds made it less than spectacular!

1X through phone, 20X phone thru spotting scope, 30X phone through spotting scope
difficult to find objective, blurry image, very little light, lucky to get something...
Picked and ate strawberries after midnight under a blood moon
makes me a Sugar Bat I suppose...

We watched it for a while last night. My wife likes doing that sort of stuff. I had a good pair of binoculars we'd use & it made viewing easier & more interesting.

Ended up with a clear sky just before and had a nice showing. The whole tribe was up late enjoying it.

Very clear and calm last evening, so my daughter and I watched it for awhile. What really surprised me was the number of satellites that were visible, had never looked for them before. Maybe Elon is spying on us

Hi...
Was able to see the lunar eclipse for a short period of time but clouds moved in before the totality.
Disappointing...

Weather forecast was terrible here, but I looked out anyway, and the beginning of the eclipse showed through the clouds. Then the clouds parted and it was a wonderful show. Now we have a severe weather alert and all the schools let out early.
