Buddy I was in the gaurd with sent me this . Apparently his unit just got these H&K 7.62 DMR's said the guys where making hits @300-600m pretty easy as long as the wind was calm. If it was blowing pretty bad said follow ups arnt uncommon but these are DMR's not sniper rifles so sounds really good.
Makes me wish I stayed in a little longer [emoji23] Their getting this and I was begging for a ACOG [emoji23][emoji23]

Is that the 417? HK doesn't mess around. That's what happens when you tell Germans to engineer something: it might take 10 years to get a product, but it will be a work of art.

M110A1, unless I'm badly mistaken.

That looks like the new Sig scope also. I have one that is 0-6 magnification and I think it is great.

M110A1, unless I'm badly mistaken.M110A1 is the US military designation for the G28, a variant of the HK417, but with an aluminum upper for weight and a scope from Sig. Short-stroke piston instead of direct impingement on that series.

The civilian model is the MR762A1. You can have one for the low, low price of something like $4k.
