Since components are scarce, I want to work-up a practice/plinking/target load for my 9mm with what I have on hand. I want to use 115gr Xtreme plated bullets with Winchester's discontinued 452AA. I've found a number of references where shooters say it works great in 9mm, .38's & .45's. I've even found a few specific loads for the .38 & .45 but nothing for the 9mm. I'm just guessing at 4.0 gr as a good starting point. I'm sure there are some shooters on the forum that have tried this powder in a 9mm. Hopefully someone might be willing to suggest a starting charge or actually have a loading data source. TIA

Not exactly what you're looking for, but speer #11 loading manual has a load for 124gr FMJ. 4.9gr @ 1064 fps to 5.4gr @ 1142 fps. For 452aa powder. Usually a lighter bullet will use a slightly higher charge, for higher velocity, but it doesn't list a 115gr load.
Hope this helps.

Thanks lylejb, that is very helpful.

Hodgdons used to market the 452AA as Trap100. I used a LOT of it back in the late 80’s and ‘90’s loading .38Spl and 9mm.
There should be some older manuals around that will show data.
In the lack of a available data, you can use Acc#2 starting data reduced 10% to start. Be watching for stuck bullets with beginning loads.
My observations were that it is close to Win231/HP38 or Green Dot. A good bit slower than TiteGroup.
