Well finally decided to mess around with the little PID I bought from Hatch on here. Very nice little unit. I'm not that bright so took me a little to get it running right with the auto tune and all but love it so far ! Anyway apparently you need to mount the probe so it's off the sides of the pot and it's a little bit off the bottom so made this up. Really easy to do. Just a length of #9 anneled trapping wire . Bent a little eye for the probe then just bent it around my pots frame and made a little support leg. Super quick and cheap. O and it's removable!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220505/03b5c6fb7e2f4e10279b01f8e656c808.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220505/8f7bbc48166b0ed2e0fd1c8dc4c31cd9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220505/112ebb0443af160443090f268ba1cf8d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220505/1c12b9f84b295de67ffcf97921601706.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220505/77b2e0f7403f02d0c86fc422868b3b25.jpg

Looks great.
If you have an Ingot mold, you can place it under the spout of your Lee dribble master to catch the lead stalagmites. Then it's easy to just dump them back in the pot occasionally.

Or sell them as new age sculptures [smilie=w:

Nice fix. I had an old spring clip laying around like you see on the thermometers for mine.

I just used a piece of pipe strap attached to the pot's frame bolt.

Double Shooter beat me to it, but pipe strap works great and it is cheap.

I made one from a piece of flat bar kind of like Double Shooter pictured.
