My Gun Show Score

I only hit the local gun show once or twice a year and rarely find much. I'm very excited about my purchase this weekend. An H&G 290 4 cavity mold that looks like it's never been used and a nice Star sizer with dies for .45 and .44. The gentleman that sold me these was very pleasant and we talked for a bit. He also had a few other molds and another Star sizer. I may go back tomorrow and see what he's got left. The mold is gorgeous and I'm torn between keeping it as is and putting it to use. I'm not much of a collector, so it's likely going to see some use.

Im at the southern sxs comp and expo in North Carolina, 5 tents full of fancy doubles drilling's and such. I didn't even notice till the third day when my friend pointed it out, he said what isn't here that's at every other gun show we've been too? Well there's beef jerky here lol no tasers, no pepper spray, no tables of junk China knives,



Not one bit of political bull crap, no maga hats no FJB flags. Just 3000 40-80 year old gun toting gentlemen.

This I could get used to.

That mold is beautiful. I love getting that kind of stuff at our gun-show. I seldom buy guns anymore, unless it's some wreck that I can get cheap, but the equipment -- I've been really lucky, and often for pennies on the dollar. jd

Sweet. I've acquired a Star lubricator to go with my Star Progressive and just recently had a RCBS LAM heater delivered. I'll be visiting Dale53 next week for his crash course in Star-ology.
