Hello all,
Has been a while since I've been on here, but this site has been the source of some of the best information around.
I recently picked up a custom rifle made by R.Binder (Illinois?). There has been some reference in ASSRA forums, but nothing in detail on him. It is a Remington rolling block with what I believe to be a #5 in .40-65wcf. Very well done, color case harden receiver, Octagon Creedmoor style barrel, 1880 styling. Suspect built on late 70's early 80's. Has anyone heard of him?

Are you sure it's "Binder" and not Binger? Richard "Dick" Binger is still around, and a very talented gunsmith. He posts occasionally on ASSRA. Dick is in Indiana, not Ilinois.
