Just picked up a Phelps Star lube sizer (as a backup) removed the .358 die and noticed that it didn't have an O-Ring on the top groove like the die in my Star Lube sizer....can I assume that an O-ring is needed?
Also: The top punch has an internal threaded hole in the end...what's the purpose?
Thanks

The o ring is not needed. I am not sure on the punch but it might be threaded to act as a die removal tool. You put a threaded bolt and washer, more or less, through the die from the bottom and use the press to pull out the die.

Thanks...looking at now..I suspect that the top punch could have had interchangeable & various diameter punch faces?
