Maxi lube

Just find some maxi lube probably from the early 80's. Anyone used it for patch lube? Pre cut pillow ticking and lube for range use.

I put some along with pre-cut patches in a baggie and put in the microwave. Nuking melts the lube and the patches soak it up, good to go at the range without further ado.
