Any use the no dill scope mount from jack Weigand ? I want to mount a Ultradot on my Blackhawk 44 and don’t really want to drill and tap if the Weigand works. Would love to hear from users good or bad results . Let me know what your thoughts are

Yup, I got one for xmas. Mounted up easy on my 44 Bisley, and works as advertised. Topped with a Vortex Viper, my old eyes are back on target. Currently working up new loads with an accurate 280 gr. I've only fired about 20 rds so far. I used blue locktight, and nothing loosened up yet. So far I'm a happy camper.

I've got two of them, one on a Super Blackhawk, and another on a Single Six. I mounted Burris Fastfire III's on both, and the setup works perfectly.

If you’re thinking small red dot (3.5 oz or less), take a look at their Mini Weig-a-tinny mount. I’ve used their full size mount on a couple Ruger revolvers, and just tried this mini. It’s pretty neat.

I have and use both of the blackhawk mounts. The mini is great for the small dots. For a larger tube type dot, the larger no-drill mount works great. It wraps around the ERH. I wasn’t sure of this design at first, but it has proven to be solid.

Had one on a Blackhawk for years I don't believe it's ever moved. Besides an occasional click or two in adjustment it as good as most any other. Great solution for a Ruger Blackhawk.

I'm a little late to this,, but I use Weigand mounts on many of my heavy recoiling handguns. Buy & enjoy!

I haven’t used one of his bases on a Blackhawk, I have one on my S&W 460….love it. While I don’t have a lot of full-house 400 grain loads down range…..it’s done everything that you would want it to do! memtb

A few months ago I bought one for my stainless Blackhawk in 45 Colt. It looked great except the inside was too wide to stay centered on the frame. The channel was perfect for a BFR, but too wide for a Ruger. I used a vise to pinch it closed for a tight fit.
Maybe they shipped the wrong one?

Lar 45 I received my mount and red dot earlier this week I will install is either tomorrow or on the weekend. But I did slide on the piece that goes over ejector rod and it seems good to go. I will report back after install is done. I want to try posting pictures also

I bought a Weaver no-drill mount to use on my stainless BH 327 eight shooter. I’ve only had it for about 7-8 years now and still haven’t got a round tuit to install it. Have any of you folks using the Weigand mount tried the Weaver too?
