Coin tube quality

I am looking at coin tubes for storing small items. Does anyone have 'hands on' experience with either Whitman or BCW brands? Both are available on fleabay and in the size(s) I am looking for and similarly priced. I dislike throwing things away and don't know anywhere else to ask.

dont know about coin tubes but in past ive found all kinds of plastic tubes with lids on eBay. when I was packing for move I bought a couple hundred to safely pack carbide end mills, they definitely prevented any chipping damage when packed

I save some of the pill bottles my meds come in. Big ones and the short fat ones. Labels peel off easily with no stickum left from the label. Small parts and screws. Hate to throw anything away. Frank
