When our Creator told Pilate His Kingdom was not an earthly kingdom (John 18 v 36); Pilate was more concerned with the idea of Jesus being a king than in inquiring further regarding the nature of His Kingdom. Paul, in 1 Cor 15 v 44, tells those believers who were asking concerning the resurrected body that a spiritual body is given those receiving eternal life. These facts show that a physical earthly kingdom in which our Creator will reign on earth for a literal 1000 years is not what is being described by John in Rev. 20. It is rather describing a spiritual Kingdom where our Creator has been seated at the right hand of our Father and will continue in His reign until every enemy is brought under His power (1Cor. 15 v 24-26).

I think you should re-think all that; the Millennial Kingdom is not the eternal Kingdom on earth and neither of them are the current spiritual (Paradise) kingdom.

Weren’t the gates of Hades in capable of holding those who were righteous in God’s eyes? Do you still believe those awaiting Christ are bound in Hades ?

I don't understand. ???

Do you still believe those awaiting Christ are bound in Hades ?

I've never believed any New Testament believers awaiting Christ are bound in Hades. Nor any Old Testament believers since the Lord went down to speak with them and set the captives free after the cross.

Right now, the bodies of all dead folk are slowly returning to the earth from which they were made. Dead bodies will be raised in the twinkling of an eye and the immortal souls/spirits of those people who are now in Paradise with Jesus (and the saved thief from the cross!) will be rejoined with their revived bodies at the Rapture, shortly before the horrible seven years of Tribulation begin.

The physical bodies of everyone, all the lost and righteous of all ages AND the righteous dead of the Tribulation AND of the 1,000 year Kingdom, will have been raised at the end of history as we know it.

Then, finally, the earth itself will be cleansed by fire from the smallest leftover taint of human sin.

Briefly stated, that's how and where I see the "dead" being stored.
