A friend came to visit and gave me a handgun. He knows nothing about it other than it fits a right handed shooter, which he is not. Can anyone help me identify the handgun and possibly lead me to where I can find information about it?

I watched a video about the Ortgies and I didn’t see the knurled nut around the barrel. Any idea why the knurled nut might have been added?

French model d in .32acp. The only way Century arms could import them was to put "target " grips on them. The atf would not approve the import unless the pistols met certain requirements.

Yep, when I was making AK47's US compliant, they had to have nine US made parts in them. So, we would strip them completely down, replace with identical parts, and send all the unused parts back over seas, to be put in the next batch being sent.

It looks like a MAB with aftermarket grips.
