Started the day with brand new Lee push through sizers. Bullets were .433 and I wanted them .432. So I used the .432 sizer and after 20 or so I miked the bullets... they were all .431, .001 too small.

I have recently acquired new Meyer Z-Class pin gages and tested the sizer.
.4320 would not go through.
.4315 would not go through.
.4310 DID go through.

So then I used the gages on the other two Lee sizers.
The .431 sizer passed a .4310 pin. Good.

However the .430 sizer would only pass the .4290 pin, again exactly .001 too small!

I called Lee and they said they had not heard of this problem and want me to mail back to them the sizers and punches, as well as samples of my bullets both pre and post sizing. This is a time consuming inconvenience to me and so I suggested I just purchase sizers that were .001 over what I need and deal with it myself. The Lee tech woudn't hear of it, and again said I should mail all to him. They will either repair or replace the faulty sizers and punches.

Anyway I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I'm very surprised 2 out of 3 of my sizers appear out of dimension. Am I missing something here?

The finished sized bullet diameter is what matters. Different alloys spring back, differently.
