I’ve heard for many years of Lyman’s famous M die. I have to admit that I’ve never owned one. But my most recent purchase ( I haven’t bought “new” dies in thirty years for two reasons. I’m frugal and can identify good condition used die’s and I also haven’t expanded to a new cartridge in that long) of a set of Redding carbide dies in 32 h&r has me thinking that the Lyman patent has expired. That expander die is perfection. The same dual-diameter feature is there and as an added bonus the first section is long enough that you can fully seat full wadcutters without them having to swage down. I’m waiting right now for Redding to open up so I can call and order the same for my 38’s. Nice job Redding.
