Pat's Reloading

Has anyone ordered from Pat's Reloading recently? I tried calling today to order some Russian Unique, but got no answer. I'm sure they are very busy, but just wondered if anyone has been making contact with them.

He is very busy. I emailed him and put"need to place order" in the subject and he called me back in a couple of hours.

I placed an order just before Christmas. He told me all was in stock but would take a month before it would ship. I am still waiting. I all fairness, he did tell me. I just hate waiting for an order:twisted:. Guess I'll get over it as soon as it gets here.

I think it's safe to say that most retail firearms-related businesses are either going 100 MPH, sold out of stock, and/or WAY behind these days. Nervousness about the ObamaNation and its effect on our shooting hobby and activities is pretty rampant. And likely an over-reaction, but we'll see.

Pat's is 100% ok.
E-mail him saying you wish to place an order, and include your phone number and a time period(s) you will be available at that number.
He will call you back.
Expect at least 3 to 4 weeks for delivery, as is is more or less a one man operation, and he is back ordered like heck.
But is 100% trustful.

I tried to place an order the other day and he emailed me right back to tell me what I wanted was out of stock. If he hasn't told you he is out, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have had very good results with SALUT. I like it better than Unique. It burns identical to it and meters better.

I called this morning and he picked up. I ordered some Salute, so it's in stock now anyway.

I placed an order in January, at that time he told me there was an 8 wk wait. He doesn't bill your credit card until shipping, that's how you know it's on its way, which mine isn't after 4 wks.

This must be a hobby business for him. I don't know that, but 8 weeks to ship IN STOCK items is out there. I ordered before Xmas and still waiting.

I purchased some powder from Pat's, took a while! Pat emailed me saying he has "maxed out" the number of trucks he can get (?) per day ay 3. Maybe UPS stops? But he will come through. He told me he has more orders in the last two months than he ever had.

I appreciate you guys educating me, I'm going to give it a try, in fact I ordered some about 2 weeks ago and at the time Pat said expect it to be 8 or more weeks.

I've used the Russian Unique in about everything , from 223 to 45-70 , weight it , use the same as regular Unique , not recomended for use with dippers untill you know the weight .
