I have three instances of a type of American AA cannon in three parks in Rhode Island which I'm hoping to have identified. I believe they are 3 inch (78mm) or possibly 3.5 inch (90mm) of the WW2 era, but I don't know the exact model.

Bristol: Independence (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g54063-d4738337-Reviews-Independence_Park-Bristol_Rhode_Island.html#photos;aggregationId=101&albumid=101&filter=7&ff=73765286) (number twenty (https://dynamic-media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-o/04/65/91/a6/gun-from-wwii.jpg?w=1100&h=-1&s=1) of the twenty-eight) and Veterans Parks (https://goo.gl/maps/cPbwhzEFvPB7BwuaA)

Pawtucket: Slater Park: Cannon in front of the former zoo's location (https://www.google.com/maps/uv?pb=!1s0x89e45c9ccd16ad57%3A0x8e4f2714ffed3aed!3 m1!7e115!4shttps%3A%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com %2Fp%2FAF1QipPtCvHy4JK_yV562i3IGrNcLU8Aed-HSeF5EIBt%3Dw426-h320-k-no!5sSlater%20Park%20ri%20-%20Google%20Search!15sCgIgAQ&imagekey=!1e10!2sAF1QipOt9EsQeK_HY0t7TT17CU5byYcTh KAEf6J-Vb8e&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjSjeC_t-vtAhUI2VkKHeWTAz0QoiowCnoECBUQAw)

Any ideas?

Thanks. I couldn't figure out how to separate the image from the surrounding Web page.

Edit: The others are the same type, just in parks half an hour away.

Doc,
I don't know enough about naval guns to identify them from a distance. But I can say that I've seen multiple 3" 50 naval guns on display at VFW posts and parks around the Ocean State. There's a good chance what you are seeing is one of the many permutations of 3" 50. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3-inch/50-caliber_gun

The guns in this thread https://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?438613-Working-with-bigger-guns-BB-35-Battleship-Texas are 3 inch 50 caliber AA guns from the USS Texas. I’ll get the model in a few days and post it.

The 3" guns here are Model 20s with no version or revision number.

I have an affection for 16"/50 cals myself.

I can’t add information on the model or origin of the cannon pictured but think it would make a fine addition to any man cave.

Where would you put the adult beverage holder?

There's plenty of room on the outside sides of the seats, though you would probably have to weld the beverage holder on.

Edit: That is, to the left of the left seat and right of the right seat. Oh, and I hope the building's foundation would be able to take the load.
