I’m buying a 1907 winchester 1894 that’s in good shape metal wise but has the shorter handguard on it and some one chopped off the stock and screwed a very ill fitting recoil pad on it.
So I was wondering where a guy might find the correct stock and handguard for the rifle. Also how much would it impact the value to have a post war stock set on it? Thanks

A tip- the 1892 buttstock will fit the 1894 if needed. Good luck in your search. A proper buttstock no matter the vintage will resore some of the value. The online auction site is a good place to look.

You might try Homestead Firearms. If they don't have it, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

They are great, they once helped me to get the correct, original front sight for my 1901 year 1894 takedown. A perfect fit.
