Freedom Convoy

One of the Freedom Convoy's came by yesterday late afternoon. Unfortunately, I was supposed to be at a job 40 miles away and got in the middle of it - it was several annoyed phone calls from the client about my tardiness when I realized that minor inconvenience is what this is about. The effects of the convoy going through towns and under bridges, seeing the vast number of people that turned out to support the cause was overwhelming. I am praying that these folks that are sacrificing their time for this effort will have the intended effect.

Nothing like a patriotic name and waving the flag….hasn’t gone over well anywhere yet. Upsetting an already weakened economy isn’t helping anyone.

My fiancé was behind a couple of trucks headed down there. We are in the middle of nowhere too so it was surprising. The slight delay was immaterial compared to the “golly, isn’t that neat” factor.

Heck of a time to travel from northern Michigan to DC. Hope they travel safely.
