Here is a good souce for comparing alloy/velocity for HP cast boolits; some good performance at lower velocities too.

Most of those are my tests done when Erik made some molds for me. It was very interesting how much the HP design affects expansion.

I have an Rcbs 250K .44 mold i'd like to have Erik do.

Fred, I studied these extensively when deciding how to have him HP my mold. They really helped and I ended up with a boolit that performed exactly as I’d hoped.

I have an Rcbs 250K .44 mold i'd like to have Erik do.
He did a RCBS 45saa for me. As shown in the test, diff pins/hp shapes allow greater customization.

I tried the Forster hollow pointer tool, and was quite disappointed in the results. The only HP mold I have now is my Lee improved Minie ball in 54 caliber and I've yet to cast a single slug with it.
