Picked up a Ronco Rotisserie ( cheap,,,,, cheap) to see if it would work for coating bullets. Tried to find info. about how hot it is supposed to get, no luck, it is an older model w/ a timer knob (not digital) anyone know anything about these units, wattage wise.

coffee's ready, Hootmix.

Using it as a oven???

You would need a PID for temp control

along same lines I use a $20 toaster oven from wally world

has a PID and does a great job of holding 205°C (a cheaper PID that doesn't have a coversion to °F built in)

I know I would never be without one! brine a chicken or pork loin for 24hrs, season outside to your liking and "set it and forget it"!
they really do work great for there intended purpose. Rib roasts come out real nice too. Not to sure if it will work to good for boolits.

The switch was bad but didn't need it to bake. Wired it back up w/o the rotary mtr., put my cast bullet mould (the one i ck. my 4# pot with), in and it showed 400+ degrees, will need a temp sw (or pid), i like the big glass door w/ light, and it has a lot-lot-lot of room. It does have a timer switch that works and it even "DINGS" when it turns off. (lol)

coffee's ready, Hootmix.

My all time favorite and still using today are the "RONCO Easy Split Logs" (Laurel Oak). It's just plain amazing how easy they are to work with. No hydraulic log splitter required!!

Biggest muskie I ever saw caught was on a pocket fisherman at lake montgomery in canada. Sad story - little kid went to canada on a boy scout trip and the dad sprung for a pocket fisherman and one treble gang cisco kid lure (cheapo dad) Kid went down to the shore, reared back and cast with all his might. Lure went about two feet, must have hit the muskie in the head or something. There were more hooks in that fish than I knew what to do with. Father had put like 100 lb test line on the thing at least. Kid just drug it in to shore. First fish of his life and it was taller than he was.
