I have a couple of Sheridans , one with open sights and one I put a William peep on. The one with the peep was slowing down ,, something that became obvious after I got a chrony. It was shooting at 570ish where there other was doing the factory normal 680ish. I ordered the tool and seal kit from Baker Airguns and all I can say is WOW. The gun is doing 680 now and the job didn't take much more than a couple of hours. Love these old guns,,,, gonna have to get a few more tins of pellets squirreled away ! Anyone know if Williams is still making the 5D sight anymore?? I should put one on the open sighted one as well .

I have re sealed a bunch air guns. I draw the line at these Benjis and Sheridens with soldered in valves and leather seals. MUCH RESPECT for those who accomplish it. My BP is better paying others.

I always used Tim MacMurry in California. Had a couple "steroided" and a couple just re sealed. I recently (finally) got a Silver and it needs work! Probably just re sealed as I dont even know it it shoots. I love these rifles and have collected more then a few all rockers but a nice early 312 Benji same as a child hood friend had.
