Not really I shoot the 221 Furball all the time. I use a GC powder coated bullets that weigh 35 grains. It absolutely devastates any varmit it meets. Using a 10 inch bull barrel on a Thompson Contender. To me it is a shame that the 223 and 22-250 has put almost all the other centerfire 22's on the back shelf.

I also enjoy the 22 Hornet and the 22K Hornet. When I see cases of the fireball at gun shows. Almost all the dealers there are pretty anxious to sell them.
