Add a hollow point to SWC-GC?

I've been in the "Do it! Don't do it!" whirlpool for a decade. I have a Saeco #454 300-grain SWC-GC. Rather than acquire a lighter SWC for a revolver loading, I'm thinking that creating a hollow point that is changeable back to original #454 is a better solution. I think I remember that a member is highly recommended for this specific type of job.

I have had Erik convert several molds to HP and his work is the best, also had him remove a GC shank in a mold and it shoots beautifully.
