I have bought a few molds for 300 blk and had some that I used in my 308 and 30-06 but keep having the same problem that is the Boolite are to short to use with a magazine feed weapon. Only the 230 gr mold works with magazine so far. I'd stick with the 230gr but looking for a lighter Boolite I'd like a 110-130gr but will take whatever works at this time.

I have dropped a lot of money on molds that will only work with my 309, 30-06 or a 300 blk bolt gun. So looking for advice on a mold that will work! Thanks!

I use PMAG magazines for my 300 BO AR and never have a feeding issue with the RCBS 7.62mm-130-SPC or Lee 309-155-2R or Lyman 311299.

What magazines are you using?

I use the Lee C312-155 (sized to .310), and have no issues at all feeding through the magazines. I'm another one who uses P-Mags.

I think you should take a look at the 'taco' series of molds ranging from 225-130grns I believe.

They are specifically for 300blk

Taco? Never heard of them who makes them?

I have used PMAGs,colt, lancer and several other magazine.

Trying to keep it light weight as possible but even my MP molds that I bought for my 308 that are 165+ gr are you short.

The heavy bullets just don't feed well. spire point will feed pretty well.

I've good luck with just about any bullet 150 grain+ with a round nose, spire point, or small meta plate. 110 to 130 grain bullets will always be very short given their small size and I've had trouble feeding even with round nose bullets. It's just too easy for them to get cockeyed going up the feed ramp and into the chamber.

I got a deal on 130gr JHP factory bullets why I'm looking for something lighter I know the jacket adds some weight but how much? Also what is this weight without the jacket?

My last mold I bought was a MP 130gr has deep and shallow HP on it. It does work with the magazine feeding but just looks dumb since it only works when the lube ring is showing.

Gee, I use RD style or other RNFP moulds in all my BOs. All have a pretty big meplat. No feeding problem when using lancer BO mags. Pmag does have a BO version I've not tried.

130-150 grain spire point work great for me I shoot the 150 grain for 3 gun and have not had any issues with feeding. I do use the Pmag for 300 BO there is a slight difference with those compared to std/steel 5.56 mags.

31=142C or GC 142D. Work with 223 pmgs but I usually use lancers.
296733 170 runs slow but feeds fine from lancers. 31-168c.
296734 145 in pmag.

I know there are better molds available, but I still use the 230 gr Lee mold. I use a mix of Pmags and surplus steel mags and have never had a problem.

Problem is not the magazine it's the bullets all are to OAL The 230gr I have I don't have any problem with but I want lighter weight bullets. Not a magazine problem as the 130 gr speer HP I load work in all the magazines I have also.
