I use the LEE C312-155-2R in the 7.62 x 39 , 7.62 x 51 and several other rounds

But I would like to find a heavier version Of Lee C312-155-2R
Like a 175 or 180 gr
As I find at 600 yards the Lee C312-155-2R is slowing down into trans sonic ( Maybe )
Sometimes producing random wild groups out of my FAL at 600 yards

So I was hoping a 180 gr cast bullet would work better at longer ranges

Any ideas ?
Also your thoughts ?

Thanks
John

My first port of call would be the Lee 312-160-2R bullet or, if you want to go that bit heavier, the Lee 312-185-1R.

I use both of these bullets across a range of calibres including an Enfield No.4 7.62x51 conversion.

I use the C312-155-2R because I am shooting the bullets out of a Semi Auto FAL 7.62 x 51 or 308 Win
The nice spire point feeds
I tried a hundred of the Lee 312-185-1R and had several times the bolt closed slowly

I like the Accurate bullet
But again with the flat nose
So I fear feed problems

I was looking at NOE and like the looks of 311-174-FN-AQ5 and 309-172-FN-AQ4
But both molds are sold out
Or I think I would have tried the 311-174-FN-AQ5 as I have been shooting .310 Powder Coated bullets
