Like the Title says:
Looking for a 2 cavity RCBS 40-180-FN mould. This is a discontinued pistol mould, not to be confused with similar mould for Cowboy shooting. Mould I'm looking for has a single lube groove.
Have a 1 cavity RCBS 45-405-FN mold with about 200 bullets thru it for TRADE. Will sweeten the pot with about 800 Hornady crimp on gas checks for this mould.
45-70 was too much for old healed collar bone (getting old sux). This is nominal 405 grain bullet for 45-70 and .458 Win Mag applications. Shoots very well. Can be loaded down for black powder simulated loads or driven hot for poor man’s elephant rifle. This mould is a pleasure to use.
Ultimate intent is to have Erik Ohlen in Corvallis Oregon trick up the blocks with his slick hollow pointing system.
