Loaded up 100 rounds of Lyman devastators for my Springfield EMP4 after the first 10 test rounds did good. They grouped well and seem to bust water jugs pretty good. Tomorrow will try and catch one of those after they been threw a water jug, see what kind of expansion those produce.
Side note, they are tumbled lubed and seem to smoke quite a bit. Is there any way to reduce how much they smoke?

Also made another little clip on YouTube shorts

That's tumble lube. Had a little better luck with traditional lube, but I'm focusing on powder coating right now.

Or try Ben's Liquid Lube. alias BLL

It goes on better than straight Lee, and smokes a lot less.

Next time I’ll try regular style lube.

45-45-10 doesn't seem quite as smoky, but I shoot outdoors. One problem with alox is users use too much and it stays sticky and smoky. I found I get good results when I can barely see a light tan film on the bullets. If the bullet is brown, there's too much alox on it...

As for trapping a fired devastator projectile in milk jugs, try adding a tablespoon of cornstarch to each gallon of water, and line up 10 or 12 of them, touching each other. Fire from 7 yards or less.

Smoke & tumble lube, pretty normal. Why many of us have gone to powder coating.

Powder coating seem like such a hassle, I’m probably too lazy.

Here is what that devastator looked like after water jug
