From the last pic it looks like you heated all the way down below the neck. Not judging, might be just colors of the pics but you want to try to concentrate heat on neck only.

Good Luck !

I'm to your West , this morning (Thursday) 7:30 am it was 64 F rain and a cold front passed through at noon , it's now 45 F and headed for a morning low of 35 F .... should be comming your way tonight and be there about Friday ... The rain pushed through rather fast but
I consider 35 F to 45 F Cold Weather ...hope it doesn't mess up your shooting .

Watching for updated range report

When I first started annealing, I heard and read lot of opinions as to how far down the case annealing discoloration should go. Recommendations varied greatly. My solution to get resolution to this issue was to mimic what the manufactures do. Most manufactures tumble post annealing so you have no discoloration as a guide. Some like Lapua do not so I use Lapua as my guide. I am having issues posting pic's recently links are the best I currently can do.

Yours are in that range.

Some excellent pics here https://www.lapua.com/products/cartridge-cases/

Yep, I use 700 degree tempaliq on two test cases to get my rythem and then I just do the rest keeping the same time. Usually it's One,two, three, four, five, six seven dump

With the single shot you have many more options on powders to use. Looking forward to watching your progress.
