K31 Guard bolt Pressure

Somewhere I read about the finger lbs. pressure on the K31 front and rear bolts guard bolts, Like set front at 40 and rear 20 finger lbs. and loose back up to 5 lbs. to find the sweet place. Has anyone ever played with one like this. or whats you all do? Thanks- Joe
