Winchester 230P load data needed, 357 Mag preferably, but whatcha got?

Was practically given a pound of Winchester 230 P powder last week.

Don't want to fertilize the petunias with it, I'd rather use it to contribute to global warming by using it it for what it was designed for.

That being said, in my four foot wide collection of reloading manuals I'm not finding much there.

Anybody have any documented load data?

Looking for, in order, 357 Mag, 38 Special and 45 ACP load data.

Found this on another forum: Speer #8 & #9, Hornady #2, Sierra #1 & #2 Manuals are full of revolver and autopistol loading data using W-230P.

Sorry, nothing in Speer 7 or8, Ken Waters Pet Loads, or the Lyman Pistol and Revolver Handbook, or Lyman 45th, 46th, or47th.

No mention of 230P in any of them, Although they do mention 630P, which is a contemporary.

Just got done printing this out, with an added bonus there is 5066 data in there also, have a "new" can of that also.

And a thread drift question, how are you guys finding these threads?

When I searched, I either got no results or 2500 hits of completely unrelated stuff.

I've had better search results by going off the forum completely and doing a search and having the search engine point back to threads in the forum that I couldn't find from inside the forum.

It gets frustrating. I've started threads knowing full well that there probably were multiple threads already going and I shouldn't be cluttering up things with what are in essence duplicate threads.

I inherited enough powder from my grandad to break a pack mule's back. In that collection is 15 pounds of W230. I don't know where he got it, but, its in those alumanized paper Crisco can looking tubs with the pry off lids. I've been shooting it in my 45ACP loads in my 1911's. I load 4.5 grains in whatever brass I have on hand, ahead of Winchester large pistol primers under 230 grain TC's out of a Lee 6 cavity. Sized and lubed with Alox then lubed in the grooves with NRA 50/50 mix.

I have an early (1973) Winchester loading booklet. It shows several loads for the 357.

It doesn't show starting loads and I would not use these as starting loads. Presume them to be maxloads.
