Not to cast any disparagement on anyone from this site, I would never shoot someone else’s hand loads. The same goes for trusting someone's secret sauce recipe. Too many unknown variables.

www dot accuratepowder dot com Has your data.

I'd use the #5 for the 9mm. great stuff. #2 in the 45.

Also would not water quench 45 acp bullets. Any hardness at or over BHN 14 may cause leading in teh first inch or so of your barrel. 45 acp is a low pressure round plus it's a big one. Which helps. I use half WW mixed with half plain lead plus 1% tin for 45 acp. Target BHN is 8 to 12. Straight WW with no tin will work but WW are hard to come by for me.

Can't give you a charge. Don't even know what firearms you are running.

Load your 9mm TC bullets to at least 1.050". I use 1.100" in my S&W and M-92. Hornady book for their 124gr rnfp-fmj list 1.050". That .050" of case capacity makes a huge pressure difference in the 9mm.

If you've a crono it's easy. If you want practice amo. Load the TC boolit to 1.050" O.L. and charge it until your get between 1050 and 1100 fps. with 4 to 5" barrels. On a day over 75 deg. F.

Accurate #2 in the 9 MM and Unique in the .45.

I have even used Trail Boss in the .45. Burns clean and it fills the case so you cannot have a double charge. Bullseye and W 231 or Red Dot can also be used for the big guy.

Midway sells those loadbooks for each calibre. I have them for 380 acp, 9 MM, .38 Spcl, 357, .45 ACP, .45 Colt, .30 Carbine, .223 Rem, 6.5x55 MM and 30-06.

Each one give you a compilation of all the loads useable in the calibre with all the makers of powder with solid information. They err on the conservative side rather than the dangerous side. If you start out with a reduced loading and work upwards slowly to the top end you will find the sweet spot.

With the 9 MM I have found that diameter of the bullet is important. My EAA Witness will eat anything I feed it. However my Browning Hi-Power is finicky and likes a full bodied round. Boolits sized down to .356 are a problem. Sooty and FTF and other malfunctions abound after the first two mags full of the smaller rounds. Plus the weapon gets so dirty if binds up and fails to function at all.

Going up to .357 is better and the best is a boolit sized to .358 and then run through a LEE FCD die upon completion. Best accuracy and reliable in either gun.

I am awaiting delivery of a Lyman 358484 mould which is supposed to cast a 133 GR boolit. If it works well I may ask Buckshot to ream it out for a Hollow Point Devestator mould. Better accuracy and nasty terminal effects.

The EAA Witness Match Elite has the best trigger I have every pulled in a handgun. I saw and handled one in .38 Super and asked my gunnie to get me one in 9 MM. It took 9 months but finally my ship docked and the gun was here. I ran to the shop and put down my money.

It is a great shooter. Full sized and made with metal all around. You would not want to pack this piece around town unless you were post Katrina in NO a few years ago. It is a tack driver with adjustible sights and with the stainless steel and bluing combo is a looker besides.

Tangliofolo in Italy makes this one and it is a take off of the CZ 75 but a lot better than the original. They are availabe in 9 MM, 38 Super, 40 S&W, 10 MM and .45 ACP. If I did not already have a Taurus 1911 I would get another in .45 ACP. This is a fine weapon.
