Anyone have a link to or know someone who makes a reproduction of the old german-style antler powder flask. Something in elk, red deer, or whatever.

Google the <American Longrifle Association>, there are a lot of artisans on that site.

I built a flash primer priming flask out of an old Elk antler that I had laying around for years.

It isn't that fancy and then I changed out the priming spout to one I got from TOW.
I got the Idea from seeing them on one of those computer view auction sites.
I also built powder flask out of a Brass tube part from an old table lamp and a end cap made of wood with a TOW spout .

These were mostly European, made from red deer. I have seen some contemporary examples, that are out of my price range.

Here are a couple that I have made. I use these for priming the pan on my flintlocks

If you don't mind, where did you get the spouts on your priming horns?

I turned them on my lathe. They are threaded and the antler tapped. The bigger one has a cherry plug attached and shaped to match the contour of the antler. Both spouts are 2 piece to make refilling easier. I also made the possibles bag and powder horn that I carry. The flintlock is a Tennessee style left handed that I also built. It has a cherry stock and is .45 cal.

Those are all very nice. As I also am left handed, I appreciate your rifle and gear.

Many years ago, at least fifty, I made an antler powder flask, that looked much like the pictured one, out of a piece of elk antler. It wasn't all that difficult. Making the bands for the caps demanded attention to detail as they have to fit tight. I soft soldered the parts together. I don't recall what I did for a spout. Being young and poor it got traded off for something that I thought I needed. If you can locate the proper piece of antler try making it yourself, you may be surprised and pleased with what you get.

All are excellent, IMHO, and I wouldn't mind attempting something similar. I've made a bunch of measures and a couple of horns but haven't tried making a pan primer.
All my primers, two factory and two hand made by someone else and gifted to me.

A few of the measures I've made and use. The two flasks are both over 50 years old.
